Tokyo Research Park
The Tokyo Research Park is principally engaged in research for the development of antibody-based novel pharmaceutical technologies and discovery of innovative drugs. The aim is to generate innovative therapeutic candidates using state-of-the-art biotechnology that may meet unmet clinical needs.
Biologics Research Laboratories
Biologics Research Laboratories were inaugurated on April 1, 2011 by consolidating two major research laboratories, Antibody Research Laboratories and Innovative Drug Discovery Laboratories. Biologics Research Laboratories are a research organization dedicated to generating innovative biologics. The major roles of the Laboratories are to develop novel technologies such as antibody and drug delivery system (DDS), and to discover and optimize candidate biologics using these technologies. One of the accomplishments is the invention of POTELLIGENT®, an innovative antibody-based technology which can enhance the action of antibodies. The laboratories will continue to strive for generation of novel therapeutic candidates through collaborations with outside research institutions and companies as well as their internal research. Scientists specialized in molecular biology, cell biology, protein chemistry and disease pathophysiology are making every effort to replenish novel biopharmaceutical candidates in our product pipeline at the Tokyo Research Park where originality and cooperation are highly valued.
